User Data Deletion Instructions
How to request or perform deletion of your data from Smilio
Smilio respects your privacy and complies with Meta's Data Deletion Policy. If you have connected your Instagram or Facebook account to Smilio and wish to delete your associated data, you can do so at any time using either of the two methods below:
Method 1: Revoke Access via Facebook / Instagram (Instant)
- Log in to your Facebook Account associated with your Instagram Page.
- Go to Settings & Privacy $\rightarrow$ Settings $\rightarrow$ Security and Login $\rightarrow$ Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
- Find Smilio in the list.
- Click Remove.
Once removed, Smilio immediately loses all access tokens and cannot interact with your account.
Method 2: Request Complete Data Purge via Email
If you want all historical logs, automation templates, and stored identifiers permanently purged from our database:
- Send an email to support@smilio.app with the subject:
Data Deletion Request - [Your Instagram Username]. - Include your Instagram Page Name or Account ID.
- Our engineering team will permanently delete your stored data within 48 hours and send you a confirmation email.
Data Deleted Includes:
- Stored Page & Instagram Access Tokens
- Automation Flow Configurations
- Execution Logs & Interaction History
- Any associated email/lead records captured by your flows
